Static values are used in Visual Coding (VC) to send a value that does not come from one of the dynamic properties (automatically loaded into your script) to a parameter.

This is often used in compare functions or when displaying questions or warnings to your users (your static value might be a custom text message/string).

You can add static values to your Visual Coding script in the configuration window of any VC block by simply clicking the ADD STATIC button:
