When you are setting up the synchronization of a data collection, you may also configure permissions for the data.

The permissions are configured as who can read, update, and delete the data that's stored in the collection.

Each action (read, update, delete) will be configured to grant one of the following:

• Owner - Only the one that added the data has permission
• Group - The owner and other users that have been given permissions to the data by data sharing, read more about sharing data here.
• Everyone - All authenticated app users have permission.

To configure the permissions of a synchronized data collection follow these steps:

1. Load the page that owns the data collection
2. Goto the DATA tab
3. Locate the row with the data collection and click on that row
4. In the PROPERTIES pane locate and click on the CONFIGURE button found on the sync property.
5. Click on the PERMISSIONS tab.
6. Select the preferred permissions and then click SAVE to Update the permissions.
